Rock Star Performance

Kens class put on a Rock Star performance at her school. It was so cute! I got it on video and am in the process of loading onto YouTube...

In the morning we had this conversation:

K: The girls need to look fancy and the boys need to look handsome today mom. That means that my hair has to be curly because Sam says only curly hair is fancy. (Thanks sam, we were late to school) Trust us, we're more fashionable than you mom.

Another Gem...

K: So the girls need to dress nice today, so do the boys. Maybe you should shower before you come to my class today mom.

Thanks kid... you make me feel sooo good about myself...

At the grocery store today I asked if she wanted to ride in the cart. Her reply? " Taylor Swift does not ride in carts mom!"

We were walking into the grocery store and past the "Handicap" parking signs. Kens grabs the pole, spins around and says "Look mom, I'm a pole dancer".... (this is NOT an oman!)

Kens and I wanted to get our toes painted so we found a nail salon, walked in, picked out colors, and sat down with our feet up. The lady's picked up their conversation like we weren't even there, babbling away. Kensie looked at me, rolled her eyes and whispered, "Mom, I think they're speaking Spanish." (Funny b/c everyone in a nail salon speaks vietnamese)

We were at Rubio's and Kensie wanted lemonade but I only ordered water. So being the innovative mom that I am, I put a slice of lemon in the water. She took one swallow and said,

"Mom you forgot the 'nanade"!!!!

Kensie opens the fridge and says, " oh no! The hotdogs melted!" I looked to see what she was talking about, she had the bag of roast beef in her hands. Hahahaha.......
