Apple Hill

At school we learned all about Johnny Appleseed, so one thing I wanted to make sure we did before moving to GA was to go to Apple Hill. When Sam came to help mom ('cause dad had to spend the week in Chicago... again) we decided to go to apple hill then up to Tahoe.
"Johnny Appleseed was a pioneer who walked around everywhere planting apple trees so people could eat apples. He walked, sometimes without shoes, but never stopped planting. He planted the first trees in Apple Hill, which is so cool that we got to see 'em!"
We didn't get any pictures of our Tahoe trip, which is a shame because we had a great adventure! When we got there we realized that we didn't bring coats... and it was pretty windy and chilli! Then, mom thought if we parked by the store we could take a short cut walk to the lake... NO SUCH LUCK! We ended up walking through the trees and around a bunch of buildings and FINALLY found the water! Good news was it was by a little playground with swings! Bad news was it was by Killer Ducks! They loved to steal our food, and while mom was feeding Blakes the ducks were biting her feet and her bum! It was so funny because she didn't have any hands to swat them away. I kept laughing and laughing. Then when it was time to go mom stood up and BLLOOPPP! She stepped right into a wet pile of duck poop! HAHahahaha.... it stuck to her foot and squished between her toes and then got mixed with sand. GROSS. Since Blake was in moms front pouch she couldn't reach her feet, so Sam had to wipe it off and she was gagging and we were laughing and laughing... It was quite a fun... although crazy yucky... trip. Perfect way to say "good bye" to Tahoe :-)
